Souplantation Certified “Green”

I’ve been a fan of Souplantation since they arrived 20 years ago in the OC.  They have been the first national chain to be certified “Green”.  Here are the details:

Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes is proud to announce that we are the largest restaurant chain in the nation to be Two-Star Certified by the Green Restaurant Association, an industry standard in restaurant sustainability.
Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes locations have implemented measures to reduce restaurant waste and disposables, along with energy and water consumption. We have also successfully increased the amount of sustainable and organic food served in the restaurants and are now using more sustainable furnishings and building materials.
