Julian Serrano at Aria Las VegasPosted: March 6, 2012
Arriving at the Aria hotel at City Center in Las Vegas on Sunday night, I had hoped to dine at Sage, their award winning 4 Diamond Restaurant, but it was “dark” (closed), so I glanced at the menu right next door at Julian Serrano, and thought “Tapas – perfect!”
I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Cones, the Spanish Iberico beef sliders, and the stuffed dates, wrapped in bacon, with an almond inside, served with pepper dipping sauce.
The red sangria, fortified with brandy, was really good. The perfect prep for what proved to be a losing night at the (expensive) tables. 😦
I liked the restaurant, and the Aria is elegant! They pump a vanilla scent into the air, which is less smoky than most casinos, and the overall effect works.
